Pappy Time!

Aidan LOVES the water....he's my little water baby. Here's Aidan and my dad, Pappy, in the pool! They were so cute, they just hung out and played in the pool for about 45 minutes.

Haha, this is Pappy with a TON of kids! Shelley is a nanny for 3 kids this summer. Micah is sitting at my dad's feet, and he's 11. Sarah is on my dad's lap and she's 3 (Anna is 6 but isn't in the picture....Shelley was picking her up from dance and left my dad in charge while she was gone!). And then there's sweet Aidan on Pappy's lap. Aidan LOVES the other kids. They're great at playing with him! Oh yeah, and then there's Lily Pilly on the chair stuffed between Aidan and Pappy!

And the weddings begin...

On May 31, 2009 one of my best guy friend from high school (and neighbor) got married! Eric Blumenthal married Brittany, a really sweet girl. It was a beautiful wedding and LOTS of fun! It was great to have the night off (Aidan had a sleep over at Nana & Pappy's), and hang out with our friends. Me and my handsome hubby. Going to weddings makes me want to get married every year! And to especially have a honeymoon every year! :)

Girl time! That night was so much fun. Me and Josh hadn't gone out and hung out with friends for a long time, so that was much needed. We missed Aidan because that was only his second time spending the night off without us, but we believe that it's important to have "us" time too....so it works out!

Hello Water Baby

On May 15th of '09 Aidan took his first official boat ride! We're starting him out early so by 2 he'll know how to drive the boat, wakeboard & waterski! And tube of course! :)

He got really upset towards the end so we let him take off his life jacket as long as Grandma held him while sitting down on the floor of the boat. He was MUCH happier! But we gotta be safe on the water!
On Thursday's in May & September the Marietta Square has a family day in the afternoon, so my and my friend Lori took our boys up there to listen to music and let them play. This is Aidan while I was attempting to feed him while he was way overstimulated....
And this is the mohawk he got after I wiped all the sticky food off of him!

Mother's Day and First time in the Pool

I had a great Mother's Day! Josh & Aidan were so sweet that whole day (they usually are sweet:), and I got a much deserved massage! It was also Aidan's first time in the pool (technically it was the hot tub because it was overcast and kinda chilly that day).All geared up!

Aidan LOVES bath time! We do too because it makes him tired and ready for bed! He started taking big boy baths and that is so much easier that the sink. He also loves his bath toys. His favorite things are the crab and octopus...probably because they fit easily in his mouth.

Happy Baby with Happy Friends

These pictures were all taken at the end of April, so Aidan was about 7 months.
At 7 months he started lifting up on his hands and kinda rocking back and forth, but then he'd just slide out on his belly and roll. Rolling, rolling, rolling is what he does best!

All of our husband's grew up and went to school together. They also all work together now at Dupree Plumbing. To the left is Danni Hendricks (Jason is her hubby) and they have Renn, who is 2 in June. Then there's Natalie Casbon (Ryan is her hubby and was also Josh's best man at our wedding) and they just had William, who was born March 2, 2009. And then there's me and Aidan. All 3 of those boys are going to be such good friends like their Daddy's!

This video is hilarious! Josh's grandparents have these moving, singing toys for fun, so we put the "Rapping Frog" in front of Aidan and he loved it!

Look Who's Talking

Aidan has gotten to the point where he "babbles" A LOT now. He started doing it around 5 months, but at 6 months he's getting really loud and he'll do it continously! It's really cute. The video kinda captures a little bit of his cuteness!Aidan getting kisses

Aidan got a visit from the Easter Bunny

We did one big dinner at my parents' house to celebrate Easter and my Daddy's Birthday. It's so much fun when we can get everyone home to hang out for a night!
