MISSION TRIP

Josh and I have been praying for a few years about going on a Mission Trip.  We've always wanted to go on one, and we are now in a place where we feel God is calling us to go and telling us we are ready.  We are leaving to go to Panama on July 8-16 to plant churches and spread the amazing news of JESUS CHRIST to the Panamanian people.  We are so excited about this! 

We have a few needs.  The first need is PRAYER.  We desperately need people to pray for us.  Pray that our hearts and minds are prepared to share God's story.  Pray for our safety and our teams safety.  Pray that we allow God to work through us and show up in incredible ways.  Pray for our 2 boys who will be staying with Grandma & Grandpa and then Nana & Pappy (they'll need prayer too!). 

Our second need is DONATIONS.  We desperately need help fundraising the $4600 required for us to go.  Please pray about donating to us.  We all know how strapped everyone is, but this is an investment for eternity.  This is for God's work.  Any amount is a major blessing and we are so grateful!

Roman's First Haircut

I finally gave in.  I have a thing for long hair on boys (this might be why my hubby and my oldest son have long locks!), so I have a hard time with haircuts.  I held off for as long as I could with Roman, but I finally realized that he has been rockin' the mullet for a while now and it's not going to curl like Aidan's hair.  So we went today, May 23, 2011, for Roman's first haircut!

 This is the famous baby mullet.  I personally think he rocked it :)

 We go to Pigtails & Crewcuts for the boys' haircuts and it is such an awesome place.  Very kid friendly :)

 Not fond of the bang trim, but we made sure that he wasn't getting the "Lloyd Christmas" haircut (Dumb & Dumber movie for the non-fans out there!:)

Roman did awesome!  He's so big now.  He liked to drive the taxi cab while getting his haircut....while big brother Aidan played with trains!  We kept some of that blonde hair for his baby book :)
