Yesterday marked the day that Roman is 12 weeks, and I am wondering where the time went?! I really think that time goes by faster and faster because I don't remember it going by this fast when we had Aidan! Roman and Aidan have grown so much in the past 3 months, and we're adjusting really well to being a family of 4. I've definitely had my moments of total breakdowns and there have been plenty of times where I want to pull my hair out (the little hair I have left.... apparently my hair loves to fall out after I have children!), but I love being a mommy. Every day my babies get bigger and learn new things. I try to savor every moment because at this rate I'll close my eyes and they'll be in high school!
Here's a short recap of all the things that have gone on over the past 12 weeks. (I'm going to try and be better at blogging more often, but it's hard to find the time!)
This is what dinner looks like for us now. Aidan is a big eater of all fruit, goldfish and applesauce. He loves feeding himself and he is becoming extremely independent! He has discovered the word, "No!" and uses that for most everything. He also loves to say, "doggy," "kitty cat," "daddy," "peese," (that's "please") and "baby." Notice that the word "mommy" is not in there....funny huh?! I am in that child's face 24 hours a day, yet he has only said "mama" a handful of times. I like to believe it's because he loves me so much and knows I'm always there that there is no reason to say it a lot! :)
Here's my little smiling baby at 11 weeks! Roman is sooo happy (just like his big bro Aidan....always smiling), except when it's eating time....then he unleashes the "hysterical" Roman. I love having another baby in the house. I didn't realize how much I missed the "baby stage!" It might be the post-pregnancy hormones, but sometimes I get upset because Roman is growing sooo fast that I can't keep up....and it feels like Aidan went from baby to toddler overnight!

Aidan is a mini-me when it comes to cleaning! He's my little helper (although most of the time he is technically not helping mommy as much as he thinks! :)
This is Aidan's "guilty" face! He likes to take Roman's pacy and then put it back in his mouth. Unfortunately for Roman he does not find this game fun.
Big lick from Herschel! Herschel gets along with the boys so great. He may be a "Marley," but he really is such a sweet dog.

We had great seats 3 rows from the field. Aidan loved watching when the baseball players would run and everyone would clap and yell. He also really like the frozen lemonade treats :)

Uncle Tommy and Aidan in his Easter suit! He was sooooo adorable. All in all, things are great. Josh and I love being parents and although 2 is harder than 1, it's also more fun! We're richly blessed with a great family, awesome friends, and beautiful babies. God is good!
