EASTER AT GRANDMAMA'S & GRANDDADDY'S
This year Easter was a lot of fun because Aidan is starting to really "get" it and he was so excited about finding eggs! Roman was also excited to be near his big brother and "help" find eggs. They are so cute together. The Sunday before Easter we spent it at Grandmama and Granddaddy's house.

I love being a mommy :)
Grandma found an inch worm...Aidan thought that was so cool

RED WAGON
The boys love when I pull them in their little red wagon down our street. The perks of not living in a neighborhood and living on a one-lane, remote lake road is we have the whole road to ourselves!
Running down the hill near our house
Roman's classic "worried look." This child has had this exact look since he came out of the womb! One day I'll have to put this picture up next to his birth announcement picture to get the real effect!
Brotherly love. This might be my favorite picture to date
I just love this one :) Roman is obsessed with brooms, which is why it's in the wagon with them!
EASTER EGG HUNT WITH NANA
The Saturday before Easter they had a huge Easter Egg hunt at my parent's neighborhood, so me and my mom took the boys to hunt for eggs!
My little GAP model :)
Aidan was successful at hunting eggs!
Nana helping Romy
Roman found 2 eggs and he was done and happy :)
The following pictures are "Looks of Roman" :

A fun day! We went on a train ride and found a ton of eggs!
EASTER AT NANA & PAPPY'S
On Easter we went to church and then all came back for a late lunch/early Easter dinner at my mom and dad's.
My mom's immaculate table...she's such an incredible host!
Pretty mom and her pretty table
Bethany, Mom and Dad getting things ready. I'd say, and I'm sure everyone would agree, that Bethany is by far the biggest helper of the family!
My cupcakes! German chocolate (for my hubby) and chocolate cookie cupcakes with vanilla buttercream....soooo good :)
Laughing! I was attempting to jump up and Josh was going to catch me, which was not graceful and did not work out as planned...
Family at Easter dinner! (nice dad! :)
Marisa and Tommy!
We also celebrated Marisa's birthday!! She's so awesome :)
Cute couple
Josh's modeling pic...he'd kill me if he knew I put this on here :) I think I have a gorgeous hubby
Aidan loved his chocolate the Easter bunny gave him!
Let the scrapes and bandaids begin...Nana and Pappy got Aidan a big boy bike!

Throwing the football in the yard....such an awesome day :)
Here's my little firecracker. He wants to do EVERYTHING big brother does, which means he wants to ride the big boy bike even though he cannot ride the tricycle yet. Go big or go home, right?
My future with Roman....crazy little child
This is his, "that's right mom, no worries...I got this" face
Daddy throwing Roman 100 feet in the sky...
and of course Aidan too!
Awesome Easter! We had so much fun with family, doing egg hunts, and eating! But to us, the most important thing about Easter, that totally gets overlooked by the massive amounts of candy and the Easter Bunny, is a day to celebrate why we are Christians....the fact that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has risen from the grave!!!! It's such an amazing day and we tried to celebrate Jesus and lift His name the most. If Jesus had not risen, there would be no point in being Christians. But because Jesus has risen and because death has no grip on Him, through our faith in Him death has no grip on us either. It's amazing.
"The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations..." Luke 24:46-47
