Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

Aidan LOVES trains, so we took the boys on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway in north Georgia on Friday, October 28, 2011.  It was a lot of fun!  We left from Blue Ridge, Georgia and rode the train for about 45 minutes to McCaysville, Georgia...right on the border of Tennessee.  It was freezing that day and a little rainy, but the boys loved it!
Aidan is so excited to be on a "real live" train
 Brothers all cozy...

 Waving bye-bye

We crossed over the Toccoa River, which was really beautiful

The colors this time of year are so pretty!

Aidan & Roman loved when we could see the whole train

Once we stopped in McCaysville, we had an hour to look & shop around.  We ate at this cute little diner that had a 50s theme.  And you can't go wrong with cheeseburgers, fries & ketchup :)

 Hello Mini Josh
Roman liked when we went over bridges

He's so cute!  He's discovered that he loves putting his hand in his pockets.
 Investigating the train

Such a great experience!  The boys loved it and for the most part did great on the train (there were those moments when you're thinking, "you're totally freaking out and we're on a train in the middle of nowhere...this is awesome"), but all in all it was a lot of fun!  Aidan & Roman really LOVED riding on a real train :)

Pumpkins!

Burt's Pumpkin Patch
On October 8, 2011 we went up to Burt's Pumpkin Patch in North Georgia with our good friends, the Cooley Family.  It was such a great time!  They had a TON of pumpkins, good ol' southern cooking, and a haystack ride with a huge tractor.  We had beautiful weather and a lot of fun.
Aidan & Addison....too cute!  They love holding hands :)
Roman & Will!  Will turned 2 in October, so he's only a few months older than Roman.  They look like brothers here with all of that blonde hair!
 So sweet...
The Cooley Family!  Mark, Cynthia, Addison & Will....such an awesome family!  Cynthia makes killer desserts - seriously. Check out her website at http://cooleycupcakery.com/  AMAZING
Our hayride was actually really nice!
Amazed and speechless about all of the pumpkins :)

 Such cute little bodies!

 Model pic!

The fact that Addison LOVES Roman is an understatement.  She would hug and kiss him all day if he'd let her!

Some of the pumpkins were bigger than the boys! (I just noticed that the view in the background is less than pleasant...anyone know how to photoshop out a crack?!)

Our sweet family of four....soon to be five!

What keeps busy boys from running off?  Popcorn...

But, the popcorn eventually runs out and so does Roman!  This is Daddy wrangling #2 :)

 Such a fun day!

Powers Ferry Pumpkin Patch
Every year we go to Grandmama's and Granddaddy's church to get pumpkins, Powers Ferry Church.  It's the same church that Cathy & Joan grew up in, so the Dupree Family has been going here forever.  It's a fun little tradition.  This year we went on October 23, 2011.
Picking out the "right" pumpkin can be overwhelming to little boys....the choices are never-ending! (I'm also 6 months preggo here :)

Best picture we could get...Roman doesn't like to stop for pictures...WAY too busy!
What do boys do when they are done picking out pumpkins?  WRESTLE of course.  This is an everyday thing!

I love that they love each other so much!
