This year for Spring ball Aidan AND Roman both got to play, and the best part was they were on the same team! They both LOVED it. Which is good, because hauling our whole family to tball practices and games 2-3 times a week is not a walk in the park, so the minute they started to complain we were out...but, the complaining never came. Instead they were both in their uniforms 2 hours before their games and loved every minute. (well, disclaimer: Roman had just turned 3 when he started to play, so for the first few games he was done 45 min into the hour game! However, by the end of the season he loved the full hour!)

Even though it's t-ball, all the coaches threw the first few pitches and then go to the tee. Both Aidan & Roman hit a few from a pitch!
Home! Roman was by far the littlest one on the team (maybe in the whole league!), but Coach Daniel called him the "most spirited & enthusiastic." Anyone who knows Roman knows that to be true! He's either all in...or all out. It's more fun when he's all in lol!

I love that they are best friends.
This melts my heart. As a mom, I love seeing my kids love each other and laugh together. My prayer is that they will have a deep, Christ-centered, brotherly love for each other and a friendship that is unbreakable.

Spring ball was a huge success! Even though it was a lot of work, the boys loved it. They both improved so much over the 3 months (Mar-May 2013) and they are so excited to do it again in the fall. Josh and I have always said that we would never force our kids to do anything and we also won't do something that takes all the time away from our family time...so as long as they both love playing ball and it doesn't interfere with our family days, we're in! This fall will be interesting because Aidan will move up due to his age, so they will be on different teams...with different schedules...so double the work...and I'll have a very active and mobile Saylor being chased by a very pregnant and not as mobile mommy! It'll be fun :)
