Cake, Fireworks & Surfing

July 3rd was Josh's 31st Birthday (I know...he looks 18 with that hair!!), so we this was one of the many celebrations at Grandmama's & Granddaddy's
Saylor girl and her daddy :)
The boys LOVE to help blow out the candles...I'm not sure if they know it's not their birthdays haha!
The boys building Saylor a "tent"...I know that she appreciates this
Roman got over his fear and is now jumping off the ledge into the pool!
Saylor girl in her 4th of July swimsuit and of course she has a matching bow! :)
 She's so cute :)
Roman does a little warm-up dance before he jumps off...

This may be a miracle...they are all looking at the camera AND smiling!
Grandma Lucy, Bethany, Mom, me and Saylor! Mom looks awesome...she had her hip replaced a week before!
 4 Generations!!
 She's one amazing lady
Bethany and Saylor girl on the boat ride

Me and Aidan about to go surfing!

And we're up!  First try :)
Aidan LOVES, and I mean LOVES, surfing...or anything to do with water :)

 Letting go!
Future surfer/wakeboarder in the making :)
Roman is still not too sure about it all...I'm sure next year he'll be out there with Biggie :)
 Kyle surfing!
I love that sweet face :)
Daddy & Aidan surfing (this is Aidan's 100th time out there!)

 He's so happy
I love this picture.  It's moments like this that fill my heart up with so much joy being a mom.

 Sharing secrets :)

 Sarah & Bethany
We celebrated our birthdays with friends and family!  Josh is July 3rd and I'm July 6th.  We're 3 years and 3 days apart :)

 Erin & Bethany
 I love my cousins!!
Aidan helping me celebrate my birthday at Grandmama's & Granddaddy's

 My handsome hubby
Roman and Aidan are GREAT about making sure Saylor has her bows...so Roman found one and put it on!  He would have been a beautiful girl too :) Maybe this is what Saylor will look like in a year and a half!
 I love her in yellow
Our final birthday celebration at my parents!
Shelley is famous for her cards! :)

We had a great 4th of July/birthday weekend!  It was extra special this year because Grandma Lucy was down here with us and because we have our Saylor girl with us now.  Josh and I have been celebrating our birthdays together since 2003, and each year gets better and better :)  God is so good.  I look at these pictures and I'm always in awe of how blessed we are and thankful we are to Jesus!  We give Him all the glory in everything!

Grandma Lucy visits GA!

Nana & Pappy with their 3 grandkids

 Pool day!
Aidan loves to be thrown "high in the sky"
 Pappy and Saylor girl
Grandma Lucy!  She came for 3 weeks (last 2 weeks of June and first week of July) to visit and help my mom after she had her hip replaced June 19, 2012.
Grandma's first time meeting Saylor, her 6th great-grandchild!  (since this picture she nows has 7!)
This was Josh and the kids on Father's Day.  We went to church, celebrated at Grandmama's & Granddaddy's and then went to my parents for another pool day
 Father's Day pool day!
Grandma with Aidan & Roman (Roman is freaking in this pic...not sure if you can tell ;)
 Tommy & Dad
 Bethany & Kyle with Saylor
 Dad, Shell & Kyle
I love that sweet face!  Aidan is a fish...all day, everyday he wants to go swimming!
With Grandma!  She looks AMAZING.  When I'm 82, I hope that I can be as active and in shape as Grandma Lucy....she's an amazing woman.
 "high in the sky" again!
 Dad and his girls :)

 Chicken fight!!
I think it was at this point that Josh's neck started to hurt...
 Jumping in!

 Grandma with Saylor and Lil-Pill
We started doing backflips off the ledge, and all of the sudden Aidan comes up and gives it a try!  Scared us half to death.  That child is going to give us a run for our money!
 Tommy's graceful backflip: TAKE 1

 TAKE 2
 TAKE 3
Aidan's 2nd attempt of the backflip...
Shell and I trying our backflips from the good ole days of cheerleading!
I would say her form is better than mine!  But at least I made it over!

Can't have a pool day without corn hole.

AQUARIUM DAY!
On June 18, 2012 Grandma took us all to the Georgia Aquarium!  It was a lot of fun and the boys LOVED it!
 Tommy looks really excited lol!
Saylor girl wore blue to match the water and her eyes :)
She thought the fish were really interesting!
 Whale Shark

 My sweet boys...
I love this picture.  Josh and his boys.

 Touching sea anemones
This was SO cool...there was no one watching the Beluga Whales when we got there, so the boys were looking through the glass and this huge Beluga starts swimming right towards them...
 closer...
then right before he'd hit the glass he goes straight up...

and dives out of the water and splashes back in!!  It was really neat!
This is me pretending to be an artistic photgrapher!  I liked the sea horses because the boys watch this show called "Octonauts" where they learn about sea creatures, and I learned that the sea horse is the ONLY male in the animal kingdom that has babies....haha, and to think I learned that on a Disney show :)
The boys loved Gracie the Otter
 Penguins!
Me, Bethany and Saylor girl before the Dolphin Tales show started!  It was a really good show.  The dolphins were amazing, but Tommy stated it best, "less singing, more dolpins!"
The whole gang for our family day at the Aquarium!
Afterwards we all went to eat at Johnny Rockets for hamburgers and milkshakes!
Romie :)

It was SO great to have Grandma Lucy here for 3 weeks!!  We played a lot that first week she was here (pool days and aquarium), and then she helped a lot after mom got her hip replaced.  She did a TON around mom & dad's house (cleaned out mom's whole pantry with Shelley's help!), and I know that mom loved having her around while she was recovering.  Mom is a champ...after the surgery she was walking without a cane within a week, driving within a week AND she went to my good friend Carol's wedding 12 days after her surgery!  She feels 100% better, which makes all of us so happy because it was hard to see her hurt so bad.

Grandma stayed until July 5th, so it was a lot of fun to have her here for our birthdays and 4th of July!  I'll post those pics soon.
