Maternity Pictures - Roman

At the end of January we had our maternity pictures taken (I was about 36 weeks). We loved our photographer and ended up with some really precious pictures. I personally love maternity pictures because it's so easy to get caught up in life and forget how awesome it was to be pregnant and all the amazing feelings that come with growing a baby (besides the feelings of being HUGE at the end!). It's fun to look back at such an incredible and life changing time in your life.

We're so excited for Roman Thomas to be here! Only a few more days and we'll have a new member to our family, and Aidan will have a little bro :)

Snow Day!

This past Saturday (2/13/10) we spent the day out on the lake bed and in the woods exploring all the snow! Herschel and Aidan LOVED it. Mommy & Aidan

The woods were beautiful. It was like a fairy tale. It's amazing how different something so familiar can look with snow everywhere!
This is just the beginning of Aidan's adventures in our backyard! Pretty soon he'll have a little brother to get dirty with.
Herschel loved having a companion to play with! Aidan fell and this is Herschel encouraging him to get up so they can go play :)


Only a lab could think that swimming in freezing cold water with snow all around you would sound like fun.
Aidan fell on a stick and got his FIRST fat lip!! He was a trooper and only cried for a little bit. My poor baby :( I have a feeling this is the first of MANY fat lips from playing outside!
