We're on our 4th baby. We have 2 boys and 1 girl, and this baby is our first surprise gender! At this point, I feel like I've been pregnant for 5 years and I'm sure everyone else feels that way too, so I was overwhelmed with gratitude and thankfulness when friends got together and showered this baby with love.
Baby Shower with high school friends
At the end of September my amazing friend Carol and my cousin Bethany threw me and baby Dupree #4 a beautiful shower!

Carol, who has been one of my best friends since she moved here our sophomore year in high school, used to be a chef so you ALWAYS get amazing food when you go to her house :)

Lisa gave the kids those super cute embroidered shirts!! I LOVE them!! I've also been best friends with Lisa since the 6th grade, and it's crazy to think that 19 years later we both have 4 kids!
I'm really blessed to have really amazing friends. Most of these girls I've known since middle school and we've stayed so close, which is something I truly treasure. I remember back in college when I joined a sorority, on bid day the president of the sorority told all of the pledges to look around because the girls around us would be our best friends and our bridesmaids in our weddings, and I thought, "I already have best friends who will be bridesmaids in my wedding!"

Sarah's Shower for Ellison
In the middle of October me, Bethany, Allison and Lauren hosted a shower for our sweet friend Sarah and her baby girl Ellison! It was so fun to shower her with love and gifts because we've all been praying for baby Ellison for a while, and it is awesome to see God answer prayer in His perfect timing.
We had the shower at my house, but the other girls did the majority of the decorating! :)

I love this picture. It almost makes me cry. We prayed for so long for the Lord to bless Steve & Sarah with a baby, and it is so cool that we get to be pregnant together!!! Only in God's perfect plan would that have worked out! Btw, I kinda cheated on this ribbon game since I have a belly myself ;)

When I had Saylor, I made all of her bedding (crib skirt, bumpers, valence, etc.). I told Sarah that whenever they got pregnant I would make their baby stuff for them, so it was awesome to be able to make Ellison her ruffled crib skirt, bumpers and blanket! (the blanket was from all of the hosts ;)
I've never gotten a reaction like this for a gift, and it took everything in me not to cry too!!

Church Shower for Baby #4
We go to Four Points Church and really love it there. We've made some incredible friends and have really grown together in the name of Jesus. The church always throws showers for brides and babies, which is so loving and such a great way to get together! Our small group hosted this baby shower for me and for Sarah since we're only 5 weeks apart! My friend Erin hosted it at her house and it was so cute!
This was a fun game! They got baby pictures of a bunch of people and you had to guess! Mine is the top left and Josh is the bottom picture on the top right pane.

Thankful, grateful, overwhelmed, loved. Astonished that so many people have blessed our 4th baby. It really makes me thank Jesus for the incredible people He has placed in our lives. People that love Him and show that love by blessing others. People that love our family and our kids. People that I consider family and love so much. I am truly thankful.
