Thanksgiving 2012

This year, I have to say, was one of my favorite Thanksgivings!  Instead of doing Thanksgiving dinner in the middle of the day we did it around 6, and it was such a great way to do it!  The whole day was extremely laid back....the guys went golfing while the girls hung around the house and talked and ate :) Then we all took naps and regrouped for dinner.  It worked out perfect for us since all 3 kids took an awesome nap (along with the parents!) and since we live so close now it took all of 3 minutes to get back to my parents for dinner.  It was fun and perfect.

AIDAN'S SCHOOL THANKSGIVING

At Aidan's school his class had a Thanksgiving party :)

So cute.  This is his 3 year old class with Ms. Kelly and Ms. Kim

 My little pilgrim

Saylor and Brittan playing!  Gavin is one of Aidan (and Roman's) best friends and he's in Aidan's class...so this is his baby sister :)

THANKSGIVING AT THE HAYES HOUSEHOLD
We had Thanksgiving at my parents house this year and it was so much fun!  I loved having so much family there...we had all of the Rogers (Uncle Jim, Aunt Jill, Kyle, Bethany, Kelli AND her sweet boyfriend Josh!) and we also had Bethany's parents, Diane & Jerry.
Bethany, Tommy, Josh E (Joshy was his name since there were 2 Josh's!), mom, Jill, Kyle, Kelli and Saylor girl
 Sweet baby girl
Saylor loved Kelli!  Good thing because she held her 90% of that night!! Thanks Kelli!
What do boys do? Wrestle...all the time...everywhere

 Cute boys
 Haha, my little model!
 Dad :)

Hello my LOVE!!  (all my Dumb & Dumber peeps got that :)
 Silly dad...
 Aww, they're so cute!
They're so cute too!!!  Kelli and Josh were the "baby whisperer's" this weekend!

23 week prego!  We all couldn't WAIT to find out what they were having!!
Martha Stewart...I mean mom :) Beautiful table, as always, and beautiful mom, as always
 Mom and Uncle Jim
Aunt Jill and Saylor girl!  She'll be holding her own grandbaby this time next year!
Jerry, Bethany, Jim, Diane, Kyle, Aidan, Roman & Josh D.
Mom, Jill, Dad, Tommy, Kelli, Josh, Shelley (me not pictured haha!)

 Dad making a toast :)
Looking at this picture makes me stop and thank Jesus for the blessing of family
Haha, poor Josh!  Out of ALL the seats, where do we stick the biggest guy there?  In the smallest spot of course...right up against the hutch where he has about 6 inches to squeeze himself in!  Sorry Josh!
Roman saying he wants "2" pumpkin pies :)  That child picked up his mama's sweet tooth
2 peas in a pod!  Saylor thought it was hilarious that her brothers were pushing her around at speeds close to 100mph...where at one point she almost got knocked out by a table.  She will be a figher :)

 Sibling love....I love this...
And they are about to get a friend!!!  The gender revealing party was the next morning and we were all dying to know what Kyle & Bethany were having!!  I love these two :)

Thanksgiving was such a great day this year.  Looking back at these pictures I am humbled by how blessed I am with a beautiful family.  We enjoyed an amazing dinner (thanks to the main cook -  mom!!) at a beautiful table.  I know that there are SO many people in this world that don't have that due to broken families, no money, no family, or in a lot of cases no food.  We are beyond blessed and I am so thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus.  I give Him all the glory.

Halloween! Hello Woody, Buzz & baby unicorn!

For Halloween this year the boys were Woody and Buzz Lightyear and Saylor was a baby unicorn!  They are obsessed with Toy Story and thought their costumes were the coolest things ever!

I may be a little biased, but I think they are the cutest things ever!!

This makes my heart smile beyond belief...
Since we once again moved into a house "off the beaten path" and are not in a neighborhood, we love that we have sweet friends that live in an excellent trick-or-treat neighborhood!  We ate dinner with the Cooley's (my beautiful friend that makes the incredible cupcakes!) and then had all the kids go out and get candy!
 Our family of 5 :)

Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Cinderella and Batman...quite a combination
 The power of GLOWSTICKS!
Looking over their stash of goodies!  I love all these kids...soo cute :)

The kids LOVED Halloween this year!  They had a parade at school on Wednesday where they got to wear their costumes to school and march around outside, and then that night we did trick-or-treating.  The boys are at the age where they are getting really excited about the fun things like dressing up for Halloween.  Aidan & Saylor won 1st place for their costumes at church too!!  Roman probably had a fighting chance for 1st place, but he wanted to eat his cupcake instead of participating...is he my child or what?!
