I cannot believe our crazy little man is already 3! As usual, his birthday celebration lasted FOREVER, with about 4 days in a row of birthday cake. He was in heaven because he definitely has a sweet tooth like his mommy :)

ROMAN'S 3RD DUBSTEP BIRTHDAY PARTY!
The decorations for my little guy's dubstep party! What's dubstep you ask? Well, it's crazy electronic dance music that he heard last year and has been OBSESSED with every since. Most moms drive around listening to Veggietales or Sesame Street. Me? No, we drive around blasting Dubstep dance music so I look like I'm trying to be 17 again with 3 kids in the back! If you know Roman, this fits his crazy personality to a T!!!

Well, you never know what you're going to get with Georgia weather. When Roman was born 3 years ago it was snowing, then when he turned 1 it was in the 60s, when he turned 2 it was in the low 70s and when he turned 3 it was in the 30s and snowing! Did I mention we had a bounce house OUTSIDE? It turned out great though and the chocolate station helped a ton! Thanks for the idea Danielle!!

The bouncy house. This thing was really fun...we jumped in it (in the snow) until 6pm when they came back to pick it up!
3 years old. Roman had a GREAT party!! It was crazy and there were a ton of people there, but we wouldn't want it any other way. We are more than blessed to know so many awesome people and the boys have really great friends. We would much rather have a crazy house packed in with people we love than to have it empty!! Life is too short for perfection, so Roman's party was perfect. And it summed up his crazy little personality :)

Roman is a very complex little man. He loves running, high speed anything, extreme anything, full-force anything, and he also loves to lay down and play videos on iPhones, particularly Grandma's :)

3 years old. Roman is our crazy child...anyone that knows our family knows that both our boys are crazy and high energy. Roman a little bit more so than Aidan (Aidan can be very calm, cool & collected...Roman is never calm). Roman is full-force, in your face, constantly moving, asking 1 million questions, can be defiant at times (we are praying that this will be tamed in his 3s!! lol!), bold, strong, demands to be heard, loves dubstep and dancing, loves little einsteins, loves to read (yes, he does sit down in his room and reads sometimes!), loves counting and can count to 10 in Spanish (Aidan can too :), loves school but loves Playball more (an after school sports program), loves tball, loves to eat and LOVES DESSERTS.
Some people look at Roman and think, "wow, he is out of control, how do his parents handle him?" We look at Roman and see a blessing, and yes a very defiant child at times, but a very sweet little boy who just turned 3 and loves life. He also loves his family and he makes us laugh so hard! He brings the party everywhere he goes!! We're praying that we will mold him to be a warrior for Jesus and the Kingdom, because with his strong personality he is a natural born leader, so if he's got a fire to do the will of God, he will do much damage for the Kingdom and bring many to see how awesome our Savior Jesus Christ is! God has his life in His Hands and has plans for him, so it's our job to raise him in God's all-powerful and living Word. God is so good and we are so thankful!
