Saylor's 6 months!

Half a year ALREADY.  Wow.  On August 22, 2012 Saylor turned 6 months old!

 She's sitting up now! 

 She is such a happy, laughing baby

 So long...

 and very talented!  She can fit her WHOLE foot, yes you read that correctly, in her mouth.

 Every morning when I go in to get her out of her crib, her feet are soaking wet :)

 This is the first time she can sit up in her chair for her monthly pictures all by herself...

 and she noticed her blocks...which meant they were destroyed instantly!

Saylor is 6 months and sitting up, laughing and holding things.  Actually she is excellent at grabbing a hold of things, like my hair or earrings, but she has not mastered the "release" yet.  We're working on that :)  She's eating rice cereal and still is breast feeding and taking bottles.  She's starting to talk.  She can say "uh oh" (this has only happened once, but both the boys noticed it so we're counting it!), "dadadadadada" and "tatata." Her favorite toy is her jumpy bouncer seat.  It's my favorite toy too because it keeps her happy for hours!  She likes watching CARS with her brothers and she loves when they play with her.  For the most part they're gentle with her, but she'll make it very clear if she's upset with one of them (it's mainly Roman).  Whenever Roman does make her mad he starts petting her saying, "don't cry baby, don't cry!" She also pants a lot (like a dog), especially when she's happy :)

We can't wait to see what the next 6 months bring.  It's going by fast, but it's a lot of fun!  Overall, she's a very easy baby.  That's good because I've noticed that our kids have all been super easy babies, but they make up for that in the 2s....Roman. :)  (Aidan was like that too but now that's he's almost 4 he's easy again!)
